The Challenge

BMW Germany asked Grassfish for a content management system (CMS) for their dealer TV network that allows BMW to centrally provide content, while also giving participating dealers the tools for creating and adapting content. The system is used by a diverse group of users within BMW’s dealerships, each of which can only access their own location’s content.

The Solution

BMW provides digital touchpoints to their dealerships worldwide, which can set up digital displays to promote products and campaigns. Since not all users have experience with managing digital signage content the IXM Platform enables creating and managing content in an intuitive way.

The Grassfish IXM Platform serves as a central system to control the digital touchpoints effortlessly. It gives an atmospheric ambience in the store. The combination of sensor technology, lighting ambience and audience recognition creates an impressive presentation of the BMW brands.
