The Challenge
Viking Line has a wide set of communication needs, from safety information and wayfinding to showcasing entertainment, tax-free campaigns and offers in their restaurants and bars. As their guests spend several hours on board there is a large need and benefit to always show relevant information and safety precautions.
Viking Line’s aim is to digitize the overall experience on board and to minimize the environmental footprint by using digital solutions instead of various printed material.
The Solution
On Viking Glory, Viking Line has created an exclusive atmosphere using modern interior and large digital surfaces to set the mood. The largest bar outlooks a massive LED-screen showing beautiful, animated footage triggered by the time of day and weather conditions – truly setting the scene.
The communication is fully automated from their PIM-system to ensure correct price and product information, and it also simplifies content scheduling and administration.
Throughout their stay, Viking Line’s guests can rely on being guided and supported with the help of digital touchpoints and accommodating staff.
